Iris Apfel NYC Fashion Tour

Iris Apfel is a visiting professor at the University of Texas at Austin for the fashion department. Recently she was in NYC taking her selected students on a fashion tour of some famous brands. It was a sincere honor to work with the team at UT, my alma mater, during their whirlwind NYC visit. Here are a few snapshots from the tour.

Hundreds of supporters attended a rally in Greenwich Village to celebrate the DOMA decision from the Supreme Court. Speakers included Edie Windsor and numerous political and faith leaders.

NYTE Chili Cook Off

Over 2500 alumni and friends gathered for the New York Texas Exes Lone Star Chili Cook Off on May 11, 2013 at Beekman Beer Garden near the Brooklyn Bridge. The event raised over $40,000 for scholarships.
